The name HUREKA Resources comes from a combination of HUman REsources KApital and the “Eureka!” moment one experiences when something just makes beautiful sense. In our case, the perfect recruitment or HR strategy.
HUREKA was started by an English/Spanish/German HBS OPM34 Medical Doctor and a Swede with HR and recruitment experience to solve the problem of impersonal recruitment and HR in Life Science. Simply put, in their experience there was simply too much emphasis on short-term commercial gain and not enough focus on the people driving long-term success.
People-centric means to us that we consider the human talent in a company as the most precious asset that a company can ever have. This asset is sometimes wrongly used, misplaced or simply not recognized or ignored. We truly believe that inter-personal relations, integration of teams and networking, leadership and clear understandable objectives shared by all members if a team can move a company better than any numer of new ad-on isolated experts. We measure the success of our advice and bhHR measures by two dimensions: increase in probability and lowering of staff turnover.

Dr Francisco Harrison is an MD, HBS OPM34 with an English/Spanish and German background who built a global CRO company over a span of 25 years covering all clinical phases. The company employed over 400 people operating in 16 countries.
Charlotta is a Swede who after many years working in the administration side of business decided to move into search recruitment after acquiring an HR degree from Uppsala University. She has built a solid reputation as ‘the headhunter you want in your address book’.
